- Favourite genre of music: Death metal, Broadway musicals and alternative/indie, for a random sampling.
- Favourite poet or writer: Dickens, Shakespeare, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Hal Duncan, Octavia Butler. Again, random sample
- Favourite game: Civ III or Civ IV...don't look at me like that, they both have their strengths.
- Favourite gaming platform: Compter. TVs confuse me and make a bad noise in my head.
